<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a DC/DC converter for charging/discharging for an EDLC (Electric Double Layer Capacitor) to reduce circuit elements.SOLUTION: A solar cell system (10) for supplying electric power to an electric power converter (210) which converts AC power supplied from a commercial system (30) to a DC power and re-converts the DC power to the AC power to supply it to a load (M) has: a solar cell unit (12) which receives sunlight to generate DC power; an electric double layer capacitor (16) connected to the solar cell unit (12) so as to be directly charged by DC power supplied from the solar cell unit (12); and a boosting unit (14) which boosts the voltage of DC power supplied from the solar cell unit (12) and the electric double layer capacitor (16) to supply the DC power to a DC link (212) in the electric power converter (210).</p> |
