<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of accurately estimating a rotational speed of an electric motor.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device includes: an electric motor which applies an assist force to the operation of a steering wheel provided at a vehicle; a motor current detection part 33 for detecting an actual current that is actually supplied to the electric motor; a motor voltage detection part 34 for detecting a voltage between terminals of the electric motor; a temperature detection part 85 which estimates a temperature of the electric motor; and a motor rotation speed estimation part 24 which estimates a rotation speed of the electric motor on the basis of the actual current detected by the motor current detection part 33, the voltage detected by the motor voltage detection part 34, and the temperature estimated by the temperature detection part 85.</p> |
