<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an incomplete round hole in a work-piece by stable boring processing action.SOLUTION: A boring tool 10, which is attached to a main shaft 4 of a machine tool 100 and processes boring for forming a hole with a section having an incomplete round shape in a work-piece W, comprises a cam shaft 11 with an incomplete round-shaped cam surface 12 having an axis L1 as a center, and a rotary body 20 which is so provided as to be rotatable around the axis L1 relatively to the cam shaft 11. The rotary body 20 has: a shank part 210 which is installed to the main shaft 4 of the machine tool 100; a blade 24 which is projected from the outer peripheral surface of the rotary body 20; a cam follower 25 which is so provided as to be movable in a radial direction and is displaced in the radial direction according to the shape of the cam surface 12 while rolling on the cam surface with rotation of the shank part 210; and a support mechanism 30 which supports the blade 24 in such a manner that the blade 24 is displaced in the radial direction with tracking displacement of the cam follower 25 in the radial direction.</p> |
