The present invention relates to a substrate of a liquid crystal display device. The substrate of the liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes an alignment key which is formed on the substrate and is used to align the substrate for inspecting a structure formed on the substrate; a metal thin film which is formed on the upper side of the alignment key; and a display pattern which is formed on the upper side of the metal thin film to inform the location of the alignment key. Thereby, provided is the substrate of the liquid crystal display device, capable of reducing alignment time by easily checking the location of the alignment key when the substrate is aligned by forming the display pattern to report the location of the alignment key to an adjacent region of the alignment key used when the substrate is aligned for inspecting the pattern of the substrate. |
