Disclosed is an electric parking system. The present invention comprises an electric motor; a deceleration unit connected to the electric motor and reducing and delivering a driving force of the electric motor; a pad connected to the deceleration unit and arranged on at least one side of a disc to be selectively in contact with the disc; a temperature sensor measuring the temperature of the disc; and a control unit electrically connected to the electric motor and controlling the electric motor to adjust a distance between the pad and the disc by clamping, and controlling the electric motor to adjust the distance between the disc and the pad again through reclamping, based of the initial temperature of the disc measured by the temperature sensor after the clamping operation.
