Provided are a photosensitive resin composition for a color filter and a color filter using the same. The photosensitive resin composition includes: (A) a coloring agent which includes at least one selected from compounds including repeating units represented by chemical formulae 1, 2, and 3; (B) a binder resin; (C) a photopolymerizable monomer; (D) a photopolymer initiator; and (E) a solvent. In chemical formulae 1-3, each substituent is defined as in the specification.
