The present invention relates to a touch sensing apparatus and a touch sensing method, capable of exactly sensing a touch signal by removing an offset for each touch node through a differential sensing operation. The touch sensing method according to the present invention includes the steps of sensing a first sensing value including an offset component of each touch node by using a read out signal of a touch sensor without supplying a driving pulse to the touch sensor for a first sensing duration; supplying a driving pulse to the touch sensor for a second sensing duration, and sensing a second sensing value including the offset component of the touch node and a mutual capacitance component according to a touch state by using a read out signal of the touch sensor; and acquiring touch data without the offset component through the differential operation for the second and first sensing values. |
