The present invention relates to a method for producing an additive and a multilayer ceramic capacitor including the same, wherein the method comprises the steps of: mixing an oxide powder additive with a dispersing agent; mixing the mixture with an additive of an aqueous solution type; producing co-precipitated sol by adding and aging a pH adjuster in the mixture; drying the aged mixture in order to be produced in a powder form; heating the dried powder; and pulverizing the heated powder. According to the present invention, dried powder is obtained using a co-precipitating technique so that additive powder having small first particles can be obtained. Moreover, the calcination temperature can be maintained at 600°C or more so that the burden of a heating process is small and a small quantity of powder aggregates can be included.
