<p>The device (1) has a time-stamping unit (10) determining the time from a radio frequency clock signal (12) e.g. DCF77 signal, and comprising a radio frequency antenna (13) and a radio frequency receiver (14). The time-stamping unit receives and processes the public clock signal. An autonomous power supply unit i.e. battery (8) supplies power to the device.
