PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a metal fitting that can improve efficiency in processing the metal fitting and improve smoothness of the metal fitting.SOLUTION: The processing method for a metal fitting performs: a step of providing a lathe; a step of providing a metal fitting having an upper portion and a lateral wall; a step of fixing the metal fitting to a workbench; a step in which the workbench rotates the metal fitting; a step in which a cutting tool, on the basis of cutting amounts, moves back and forth the upper portion of the metal fitting at high speed to be processed; a step in which the cutting tool is moved along a predetermined route to perform processing in a radial direction in the upper portion; a step in which the workbench stops the rotation of the metal fitting and the cutting tool is separated from the metal fitting; a step in which the feeder for milling rotates the milling cutter and contacts the milling cutter with the lateral wall of the metal fitting; and a step of moving the milling cutter along the predetermined route.
