A ship which has reduced frictional resistance is provided with air discharge sections provided to the bottom of the ship body. Each of the air discharge sections is provided with an air delivery pipe and a container section. The air delivery pipe supplies air. The container section has an upper surface having the air delivery pipe connected thereto, and also has a bottom surface having air discharge holes therein and discharging air. The inner height (H) of the container is in the range of 40 cm to 200 cm, inclusive.
