The valve has a nozzle needle (6) for controlling a flow of fuel from a pressure chamber (5) to an injection port (10). A valve seat-turned away end of the needle is received from a longitudinally displaceable switching case (14) such that a control chamber (18) is limited by an inner wall of the case and the end of the needle. The control chamber is connected with the pressure chamber through an inlet throttle (20). The case is guided by a valve piece (9), and cooperates with a sealing seat (32) placed at an inner side of the piece to open and close the throttle.
