PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ionic metal complex salt containing an organic compound as a ligand inexpensively and industrially.SOLUTION: The method for producing ionic metal complex salt containing the organic compound as the ligand comprises the steps of: reacting the organic compound, which is used for forming the ligand by the reaction, with fluorine atom-containing metal complex salt while using silicon tetrachloride as a reaction aid to obtain the ionic metal complex salt containing the organic compound as the ligand; and bringing the silicon tetrafluoride and hydrogen chloride, which are produced as by-products, into contact with an aqueous solution of hydrofluoric acid and detoxifying/recovering the silicon tetrafluoride and hydrogen chloride as a mixture of an aqueous solution of hexafluorosilicic acid with hydrochloric acid. |
