<p>Disclosed are a method and system for synchronizing a distributed database. The distributed database comprises a main server cluster and a backup server cluster; the main server cluster comprises a first main node and a second main node; and the backup server cluster comprises a first backup node and a second backup node. The method comprises: generating a main server cluster hash tree and a backup server cluster hash tree; determining an interval hash tree of the second main node and an interval hash tree of the second backup node, interval hash values of which are inconsistent; determining a data unit required to be synchronized in the second main node and a data unit required to be synchronized in the second backup node; and synchronizing data. In the present invention, since determination of data units required to be synchronized can be completed at each node, respectively, a plurality of nodes can separately synchronize data units determined as being required to be synchronized, thereby saving the time required for executing data consistency check to further improve data synchronization efficiency.</p> |
