PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Chinese patent application file conversion system and a method capable of quickly and accurately converting a patent application file by automatically converting the format of the simplified character or the traditional character of a patent application file.SOLUTION: A Chinese patent application file conversion system includes a setting module of setting a format file, an introduction module of introducing the content of a patent application file to a first format file, a call module of converting the content of the first format file into a simplified character and a traditional character, an introduction module of introducing the content of the first format file to a second format file, a determination module of determining whether the content of the second format file includes words of a corresponding word table, and a conversion module of converting the word of the second format file on the basis of the corresponding word table.
