The present application provides a wireless local area network configuration method and a wireless terminal. Embodiments of the present application obtain a first MCC from a user card of the wireless terminal, and thereby determine first wireless local area network configuration information corresponding to the first MCC so that the first wireless local area network configuration information can be used for configuring a wireless local area network of the wireless terminal, a problem of a complicated and error prone operation in configuring the wireless local area network of the wireless terminal in prior art can be solved, and therefore configuration efficiency and reliability are improved.
