The tube lamp has a fluorescent tube (1) and a light-emitting diode-module (2,3) attached within the fluorescent tube, where the fluorescent tube is rotatable with respect to the light-emitting diode-module. A rotation of the fluorescent tube changes the light emission characteristics, particularly a color, a color temperature and intensity of the emitted light, of the tube lamp with respect to the light-emitting diode-module. The fluorescent tube has a transparent or semi-transparent pipe that is provided with different optical units (6a). A heat sink is made from metal or plastic. An independent claim is included for a method for changing the light emission characteristics of a tube lamp.
