PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor which prevents retention of an oil in an oil separator thereby improving the efficiency of a refrigeration cycle.SOLUTION: A compressor 1 includes: a compression mechanism 2 which compresses a refrigerant; a discharge chamber C of the refrigerant discharged from the compression mechanism 2; and an oil separator 30 into which the refrigerant is introduced from the discharge chamber C, the oil separator 30 which is disposed inclining relative to a vertical direction. In the oil separator 30, an introduction hole 33 for introducing the refrigerant into the oil separator 30 is formed so as to face the lower side in the vertical direction. Further, a discharge hole 35 having an opening area smaller than an opening area of the oil separator 30 and from which an oil in the oil separator 30 flows out is formed. The discharge hole 35 is positioned at a lower end part of the oil separator 30 when viewed in the vertical direction. |
