Provided are a wireless base station, a user terminal, a wireless communication method, and a wireless communication system, which are newly configured so as to be capable of increasing throughput and system capacity. The wireless base station transmits reference signals that are specific to a plurality of transmission beams. A plurality of user terminals feed back coarse channel state information, which is obtained by channel estimation, to the wireless base station. The wireless base station selects, on the basis of the coarse channel state information, a plurality of user terminals to feed back fine channel state information. The selected plurality of user terminals feed back the fine channel state information. The wireless base station sets, on the basis of the fine channel state information, a plurality of user terminals to be non-orthogonally multiplexed with respect to each transmission beam, and non-orthogonally multiplexes downlink signals. The set plurality of user terminals remove interference among the transmission beams using a linear filter, and subsequently remove downlink signals intended for other terminals from the downlink signals non-orthogonally multiplexed with respect to each transmission beam. |
