PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neck strap type antenna to be used while suspending it from the neck, which improves comfort when used.SOLUTION: In a neck strap type antenna 6, a first stainless twisted wire 27 is arranged over an entire length of a suspension portion 5 in an inner space 22 sandwiched between two layers of the suspension portion 5 having flexibility in the length direction, and an opening portion 26 is provided to the suspension device 5 so that the first stainless twisted wire 27 is exposed. A second stainless twisted wire is inserted into the opening portion 26 in the length direction of the first stainless twisted wire 27 to be sandwiched between the two layers of the suspension portion 5, so that the first stainless twisted wire 27 and the second stainless twisted wire 30 are brought into pressure-contact with each other.
