PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress distortion of an endoscopic image attributable to overshoot of temperature control in a scanning optical unit that is caused when an optical scanning endoscope is inserted into the body.SOLUTION: An optical scanning endoscope apparatus includes: a temperature sensor that detects temperature in a scanning optical unit; a heater that heats the inside of the scanning optical unit; a PID control part that makes a PID control calculation while setting the temperature detected by the temperature sensor as a control variable and outputs a value of current to be supplied to the heater as an operation quantity; and a current driver that supplies the current to the heater on the basis of the operation quantity. The PID control part includes: comparison means that compares the control variable with a preset target value; and an operation quantity correction part that, when the comparison means determines that the control variable is greater than the target value, calculates a new operation quantity by subtracting a prescribed correction quantity from the operation quantity and outputs the new operation quantity as the operation quantity. |
