<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coat removing device for a coated cable that can resolve a defect of a V-blade and perform a digital control to arbitrarily size a diameter of an inscribed circle (a notch depth of a coat) formed with cutting edges of a plurality of rotating blades.SOLUTION: A coat removing device for a coated cable is configured to: fix the coated cable and then slide and rotate a plurality of blades, arranged at equal intervals on the same plane orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the coated cable, toward the center of the coated cable by digitally-controlled direct movement in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the coated cable; cut the coat of the coated cable into round pieces by rotation of the blades; retreat the blades toward the opposite direction of the direct movement so as to lock the cut coat to the cutting edges of the blades to be moved in the longitudinal direction of the coated cable; and expose a core material of the coated cable, where the diameters of inscribed circles formed with the cutting edges of the rotating blades are digitally controlled to be arbitrarily sized by the direct movement.</p> |
