PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion granulator in which worn powder is prevented from being generated owing to the contact of a screen with a holder and crevice corrosion is also prevented from occurring in a minute space between the screen and the holder. SOLUTION: The screen 7 is held in a casing 2 by using the holder 8. An extrusion blade 5 is rotated in the screen 7 so that a wet raw material is extruded from the screen 7 and granulated. The screen 7 has a granulation area where many small granulation holes 10 are formed and a non-granulation area where such small granulation holes 10 are not formed. The holder 8 is superposed on the screen 7 in the non-granulation area while interposing a buffer material 19 between them and then the screen 7 is held by the holder 8. The screen 7 and the holder 8 are formed from stainless steel and the buffer material 19 is formed from a synthetic resin or synthetic rubber. The preset or wider space is left by the buffer material 19 between the outer peripheral surface of the screen 7 and the inner peripheral surface of a rib 11 of the holder 8.
