The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for washing a reverse osmosis membrane module. The washing apparatus comprises: a washing tank for accommodating washing liquid; a supersonic wave generator for exerting supersonic waves into the washing tank; a circulation pipe having one end part connected to the concentrate outlet of the membrane module; and a vacuum pump installed on the circulation pipe and sucking foam which is generated by the washing liquid and the supersonic waves into the membrane module by exerting negative pressure into the membrane module. The apparatus and method for washing a reverse osmosis membrane module according to the present invention effectively wash even objects that are so severely contaminated that the objects cannot be recycled via general methods by a complex washing method in which vacuum pressure, ultrasonic waves, and osmotic pressure are applied. Therefore, the objects can be made to have performance similar to the performance of a new product and discarded membrane modules can be collected to be reused. In addition, the apparatus for washing a reverse osmosis module can be used without burden as washing time is very short and a small amount of wastewater is generated by washing, thus generating little environmental load. |
