The device has a mechanical actuator (1) and a contact-less sensor element (2) e.g. magnet of reed contact and transponder, which are attached to a component (3) for attachment to a movable part e.g. door, flap or cover. The component comprises a predetermined breaking point (4) that is arranged between the actuator and the sensor element. The predetermined breaking point is broken during exceedance of maximum force on the actuator without damaging the actuator. The sensor element remains at the movable part, where the maximum force is exerted in a direction of actuation.
