A resolution amplifier is disclosed. The resolution amplifier comprises an acceleration detection sensor for detecting an acceleration value of a vehicle; an encoder sensor for detecting the rotation of the wheels of the vehicle and outputting a predetermined number of pulse signals corresponding to the detected rotation of the wheels; a travel distance calculating unit for calculating the travel distance of the vehicle based on the acceleration value detected by the acceleration detection sensor and calculating a first cumulative distance which is obtained by cumulating travel distance; an encoder calculating unit for calculating an actual travel distance of the vehicle based on the vehicle wheel rotation detected by the encoder sensor and calculating a second cumulative distance which is obtained by cumulating the actual travel distance; a correcting unit for correcting the first cumulative distance based on the second cumulative distance; and a pulse output unit for generating and outputting more number of pulse signals than the predetermined number of pulse signals in regard to the vehicle wheel rotation, based on the first cumulative distance corrected by the correction unit and a predetermined output reference distance.
