<p>Formulations comprises zinc pyrithione as a first antimicrobial active ingredient, 2-n-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one or N-(trichloromethylthio)phthalimide as a second antimicrobial active ingredient in a weight ratio of 1:4-1:99, and optionally at least one further component. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing an antimicrobial formulation, comprising mixing antimicrobial agents, and optionally further component; (2) a thermoplastic molding composition comprising 30 wt.% at least one polymer, zinc pyrithione as a first antimicrobial active ingredient, 2-n-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one or N-(trichloromethylthio)phthalimide as a second antimicrobial active ingredient; and (3) a molding produced from a thermoplastic molding composition.
