The present invention relates to a vehicle movement controlling device and a method thereof. The vehicle movement controlling device and the method thereof according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of detecting the movement of a vehicle in either a first direction or a second direction; a step of deciding whether the vehicle has moved as much as a preset distance based on the detected results; and a step of stopping the vehicle when the vehicle has already moved as much as the preset distance.
