The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a hollow drive shaft and a hollow drive shaft manufactured by the same. More specifically, regarding a manufacture of a hollow drive shaft having a hollow inner ring portion, the hollow drive shaft manufactured by the method presented in the present invention has an inner ring portion having rather thinner thickness and multiple-stepped form than a traditional hollow drive shaft manufactured through a traditional solid core forging method or a cold drawing and welding method, thus enabling a vehicle to become light in weight, high in strength, and high in precision. Moreover, the hollow drive shaft manufactured by the method of the present invention has thicker materials on both ends compared to the central portion of the shaft, thereby having excellent durability, strength and quality compared to a general hollow drive shaft. |
