The present invention relates to a mandrel coil box with a heat insulating function which minimizes heat loss of the inside caused by a process of winding a high temperature coil during a continuous casting process. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mandrel coil box with a heat insulating function includes a housing and door units. On one side of the housing, an inlet through which a hot rolled steel plate enters is formed. On the other side of the housing, an outlet through which the hot rolled steel plate is discharged is formed. Each door unit is installed on each side of the housing. One end portion of the door unit contacts with one side of the hot rolled steel plate to enclose the housing. |
