An electronic device comprising: circuitry configured to establish, in combination with a wireless communication network, a plurality of packet data network (PDN) connections to one or more PDNs, each of the PDN connections providing one or more non-Guaranteed Bit Rate bearers;receive an indication of an Aggregate Maximum Bit Rate (AMBR) value for each of the PDNs from the wireless communication network, each AMBR value being applied to a corresponding one of the plurality of PDN connections for communicating from the electronic device to the wireless communication network via the non-Guaranteed Bit Rate bearers, each of the AMBR values being associated with an identifier of the corresponding PDN; andcommunicate data packets from the electronic device to the wireless communication network via the non-Guaranteed Bit Rate bearers, wherein a sum of the bit rate of the non-Guaranteed Bit Rate bearers for each of the PDN connections is limited based on the Aggregate Maximum Bit Rate value for the PDN connection associated with the identifier of the PDN.
