The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a porous pelletized activated carbon from a wood pellet and a porous pelletized activated carbon manufactured thereby. The method of manufacturing the porous pelletized activated carbon includes the steps of: (1) carbonizing a wood pellet under an inert atmosphere; (2) impregnating the carbonized wood pellet into an impregnating agent; (3) recarbonizing the wood pellet which is carbonized and impregnated in the impregnating agent; and (4) activating the wood pellet which is carbonized, impregnated in the impregnating agent, and recarbonized.
