In order to name content by naming devices interlinked with a name-based router on a name-based network, the naming devices convert the name of content into a preset format when the content and content information are received from the name-based router, and stores the content and the converted content name. wherein the content name includes a content code for specifying that data is content data, a unique name code for indicating a content title and a content provider; a broadcast channel code for indicating a channel where the content is broadcasted; a broadcast time code for indicating time information when the content is broadcasted; and a category code for indicating a category of the content.
