PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium multiple oxide exhibiting, when used as an anode active material, a high per-volume discharge capacitance and, when used within an atmosphere having a temperature higher than normal temperature, excellent cycle characteristics and capable of yielding a lithium ion secondary battery having an excellent thermal stability.SOLUTION: The provided mixed-type lithium multiple oxide includes, as main components, a hybrid-type lithium multiple oxide having a particle-shaped structure constituted by a core and a shell wherein the core consists of a lithium multiple oxide A and wherein the shell consists of a lithium multiple oxide B and a non-hybrid-type lithium multiple oxide having a particle-shaped structure consisting of a lithium multiple oxide C of a singular composition in a state where the lithium multiple oxide A, the lithium multiple oxide B, and the lithium multiple oxide C each consist of a laminar lithium multiple oxide, a spinel-type lithium multiple oxide, etc. |
