PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device capable of bringing a degree of superheating close to a target value in a short period of time at the cooling start time, and capable of preventing a compressor from being broken by compression of a liquid coolant.SOLUTION: A cooling device includes: a cooling circuit 1 in which a compressor 2, a condenser 3, an electronic expansion valve 4 and an evaporator 5 are connected; and control means 9 for performing feedback control of an opening of the electronic expansion valve 4 so that the degree of superheating calculated from temperature of a coolant at an inlet and an outlet of the evaporator 5 becomes a predetermined target value. The control means 9, when cooling is started by starting the compressor 2, executes processing for setting the electronic expansion valve 4 to a second opening smaller than a first opening when the time change of the degree of superheating changes from rising to falling, after setting the electronic expansion valve 4 to the first opening, before starting the feedback control. |
