PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a dryer adapted for an improved VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) exhaust capable of reducing running cost of an entire dryer by decreasing cost required for production of drying gas and cost required for deodorizing exhaust gas.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a dryer 1 constituted such that a temperature of surrounding gas G0 is increased to generate dry gas G2, the dry gas G2 is supplied to a dryer 2 to dry items to be dried, exhaust gas G3 discharged out of dryer 2 is deodorized by a deodorization device 4, further there is provided a heat exchanger 6 for heat exchanging between deodorized gas G5 discharged out of the deodorization device 4 and exhaust gas G3 discharged out of the dryer 2, and the exhaust gas G3 can be supplied to the deodorization device 4 as exhaust gas G4 of high temperature. In the dryer 1, the deodorization device 4 is provided with catalyst 46b and means for increasing temperature of the surrounding gas G0 to generate dry gas G2 is provided with a heat pump type hot air production device 5. |
