PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for eliminating blockage to suppression of a higher harmonic wave component in a power supply current caused by arithmetic processing in a current controller in an active filter.SOLUTION: A current controller 5 performs processing for generating a three-phase voltage command value V* on the basis of output from a differential current generation section 3A. The current controller 5 performs e.g., PI (proportional integration) control to implement the processing, such that a delay time ta is generated. In the case where a deviation Ie is determined from a command value Ic* and a compensation current Ic, the time ta causes deviation between the compensation current Ic and a higher harmonic wave component and becomes a blockage factor to suppressing the higher harmonic wave component in a power supply current Is. In the differential current generation section 3A, however, the deviation Ie is determined from the value Ic*^ obtained by advancing a phase of the command value Ic* in accordance with the time Ta and the compensation current Ic, thereby eliminating or reducing the blockage factor.
