<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle communication device and a rank travel control device that disable a following vehicle to make a connection travel adaptively to a state in which the following vehicle should not make the connection travel.SOLUTION: An inter-vehicle communication device 100 of a self-vehicle includes a preceding vehicle communication processing unit 152 which transmits a connection request signal to and receives a connection propriety signal from a preceding vehicle, and a following vehicle communication processing unit 151 which transmits a connection request signal and receives a connection propriety signal from the following vehicle. Consequently, the two vehicles in succession relation can transmit and receive the connection request signals and the connection propriety signals to and from each other, so that when the following vehicle should not make a connection travel, the precedent vehicle informs the following vehicle that the connection travel is not permitted, and the following vehicle is made not to make the connection travel.</p> |
