<p>The present invention relates to a method for controlling bearer extension in a heterogeneous network wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof. Disclosed in the present invention is a method for supporting a modification of an extended EPS bearer, the method including the following steps: receiving, from a macro base station, a first uplink transmission starting information and a first uplink transmission withholding information; receiving, from the macro base station, a parameter for configuring a radio bearer, which is mapped onto a second extended EPS bearer to be formed between a terminal and a second small base station, and a second uplink transmission withholding information; and receiving, from the macro base station, a third uplink transmission withholding information and a second uplink transmission starting information. According to the present invention, since the terminal does not move through a handover between the small cells so that a burden of a handover or overhead can be reduced and a service change between the small cells can be performed more quickly than a handover.</p> |
