PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection system and an abnormality detection method of a columnar structure capable of detecting damaging of a columnar structure where a design load is large, many articles are strung hardly shaking, a column length and a design load vary, and a ground boundary is difficult to be detected.SOLUTION: An abnormality management system subjects an acceleration waveform of each striking angle obtained by striking a columnar structure in a circumferential direction from many directions to Fourier transformation, extracts an analysis band and two analysis time zones shifted by a predetermined time corresponding to a plurality of unique vibration modes from the bottom vibration frequency extracted by converting an obtained Fourier spectrum into a logarithmic display, extracts the dominant vibration frequency for each unique vibration mode from a waveform obtained by taking a difference between two waveforms obtained by time-integrating for each of two analysis time zones a scalogram obtained by executing wavelet transformation in the extracted analysis band, and determines abnormality when there is a difference of a predetermined value or higher between dominant vibration frequencies of the unique vibration modes of the respective extracted striking angles. |
