PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the state-detection accuracy of a battery.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device (120) generates battery state information that includes information (FCC) on the capacity that can be taken from the battery when the battery is discharged from a fully charged state to a discharge termination voltage at a predetermined discharge rate, on the basis of measurement results of the voltage, current, and temperature of a battery. The semiconductor device calculates a first estimation value (FCC1st) of the capacity that can be taken when the battery is discharged from the fully charged state to the discharge termination voltage (VST); and calculates a second estimation value (FCC2nd) of the capacity that can be taken when the battery is discharged to a voltage (CCV1 or the like) that is larger than the discharge termination voltage. The semiconductor device corrects the first estimation value on the basis of an error amount (FCCerr) between a capacity value (FCCtrue) taken from the battery by discharging the battery from the fully-discharged state to the voltage larger than the discharge termination voltage, and the second estimation value. |
