<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level-difference measuring instrument capable of easily measuring height and depth from a reference face by reading sliding lengths from respective points, with an intersection of one outer side edge and the other outer side edge of the carpenter's square body, and an end edge of an auxiliary scale defined as base points, namely, a graduation of a carpenter's square body of a slide length with respect to one base point or a graduation of an auxiliary scale with respect to the other base point, capable of improving flexibility of the measurement, improving convenience of transport and storage, simplifying the structure, and reducing the manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A carpenter's square body 1 includes a slider 2 slidably, and an auxiliary scale 3 on the slider. The carpenter's square body is configured to read sliding lengths L from the respective base points with an intersection K between one outer side edge 1c and the other outer side edge 1d of the carpenter's square body and an end edge 3a of the auxiliary scale defined as base points Band B, namely, a graduation E of the carpenter's scale body with respect to one base point or a graduation F of the auxiliary scale with respect to the other base point.</p> |
