PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scattering prevention glass building material which is lightweight and has high durability, high heat resistance, and high impact resistance.SOLUTION: A scattering prevention glass building material 1 is formed by bringing a processed surface 3a, to which painting or printing has been applied, of a metal plate 3 (including a metal foil, a metal film, and a metal membrane) into close contact with a rear surface 2b of a glass substrate 2. Preferably, the glass substrate 2 is made of tempered glass. It is desirable that embossing finish is applied to the rear surface 2b of the glass substrate 2. Further preferably, a front surface 2a of the glass substrate 2 is a light diffusing and reflecting surface. The metal plate 3 is made of, for example, aluminum or magnesium. |
