PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel support system, a travel support method, and a computer program capable of providing guidance necessary for the current crew at necessary timing.SOLUTION: A travel support system is configured to detect a position of a visual line, a visual line circle, and a visual field area of a driver from a photographed image photographed with a driver camera, detect a characteristic object present in front in a direction of travel of a vehicle from a photographed image photographed with a front camera 19 and characteristic object image information 33, determine whether or not the driver closely observes the characteristic object present in front in the direction of travel of the vehicle on the basis of detection results (S61), and provide guidance related to the characteristic object when the driver is determined not to closely observe the characteristic object (S66, S68, and S69). |
