PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic circuit capable of reducing the energy loss of pressure oil to be discharged from a hydraulic pump by controlling the flow of pressure oil to be discharged from a hydraulic cylinder on the basis of the back pressure of the hydraulic cylinder, and to provide a control method therefor.SOLUTION: The hydraulic circuit for controlling the operation of the hydraulic cylinder includes the hydraulic pump for discharging the pressure oil to be supplied to the hydraulic cylinder, detecting means for detecting the back pressure of the hydraulic cylinder, and control means for controlling the hydraulic pump and the detecting means. The control means controls the flow of the pressure oil to be discharged from the hydraulic cylinder on the basis of the back pressure detected by the detecting means.
