<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for supporting power preference of user equipment (UE) in consideration of quality of service (QoS). A method according to the present invention includes the following steps: receiving a first radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message including powerPrefIndication-Enabled information from a base station by UE, wherein the powerPrefIndication-Enabled information allows a power preference indicator to be transmitted to the base station; generating a UE supplementary information message by the UE and transmitting the UE supplementary information message to the base station, wherein the UE supplementary information message includes a power preference indication (PPI) indicating a power preference state of the UE and a QoS preference indication (QPI) indicating a QoS preference state of the UE; and receiving a second RRC connection reconfiguration message from the base station by the UE, wherein the second RRC connection reconfiguration message includes an RRC related parameter, which is reconfigured based on the power preference indication and the QoS preference indication by the base station. According to the present invention, the base station and the UE take into consideration the QoS preference of the UE so that the RRC-related parameter can be adaptively reconfigured.</p> |
