PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide joint structure of an exhaust pipe, in which a sealing member and flanges are protected from an added additive and a generated reducing agent.SOLUTION: The joint structure is configured in such a manner that: a first pipe body 13a and a second pipe body 13b are connected together so as to oppose each other at their openings, by using flanges 45a, 45b and an annular sealing member 47; an end part of the first pipe body from which an exhaust gas flows, out of end parts of the first pipe body 13a and the second pipe body 13b, is extended to an end side of the second pipe body from an end of the first pipe body; a tapered nozzle shape part 59 with a diametrically reduced tip is formed at a tip of the extended first pipe body; and a tip of the nozzle shape part is inserted into the end of the second pipe body. According to this configuration, since a clearance between the flanges is blocked at an end portion extending from the first pipe body, the additive and the reducing agent are prevented from intruding into the clearance between the flanges. A high-speed exhaust gas flow resulting from the nozzle shape part induces a flow causing the exhaust gas to flow to a downstream side at the circumference of the nozzle shape part, and consequently the exhaust gas is prevented from intruding into a clearance between the tip of the nozzle shape part and an internal face of the second pipe body. |
