PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately satisfy both a condition for preventing ink bleed on a printed matter and a condition for giving glossiness to the printed matter.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer includes: a plurality of ink jet heads 12y to 12k; a print heater 104 that is for heating a medium; and a sub-scan driving unit 16 that is an opposing position change unit sequentially changing respective positions of a medium in a moving direction of the medium 50 to oppose the ink jet heads 12y to 12k. The ink is solvent-contained ink, and fixed to the medium when the solvent is dried. The print heater 104 dries the ink discharged from one of the ink jet heads and impacted on the medium before another ink jet head further discharges an ink droplet onto a position at which the ink is impacted. |
