The present invention relates to a permanent magnet DC motor including a stator (100) having 2P magnetic poles (P is larger integer than 1) and a plurality of magnetic elements and a rotor (104) which is rotated on the stator. The rotor includes a rotor core including an output shaft, a commutator attached to the output shaft, and a plurality of rotor teeth (106) which forms a plurality of rotor grooves (108). The rotor groove receives a plurality of rotor coils. The stator includes M stator bars (Z) which form an M pair of stator bars. M is an even number which is larger than 2. The rotor coil includes a plurality of coil elements (W). One coil element includes two end units which connect a pair of the stator bars. A first pair of the adjacent stator bars is connected by (P-1) coil elements connected in series. A second pair of stator bars is connected by the (P+1) coil elements connected in series. |
