FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a driven toothed belt. The belt (1) comprises a body (2) made from elastomer material, teeth (4) covered by fabric (5) and a variety of reinforcing inserts (3). The elastomer material contains fibres (6) which pass in the direction in essence perpendicular to the reinforcing inserts and parallel to the surface formed by the reinforcing inserts' axes.
